He currently serves as standing director of the Jiangsu Law Society's Procuratorial Research Association, Criminal Law Research Association, and Case Law Research Association. He is also the chief legal consulting expert for the Nanjing Law Society. Professor Ma graduated from Southwest University of Political Science and Law in 2002, majoring in criminal law. Prior to joining NUAA, he taught at Nanchang University and Yangzhou University. His research focuses on fundamental theories of criminal law, case law analysis, and legal studies, with groundbreaking contributions in these fields. He has authored eight books and published nearly 300 academic papers.

Professor Ma Rongchun is a leading scholar in criminal law and a professor in the Department of Law at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA).
