He serves as the leader of litigation law at NUAA and is a legal advisor to the Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government. He is also vice-president of the Jiangsu Criminal Procedure Law Society, a researcher at the Internet Law Research Centre of Zhejiang University, and director of the Research Centre for National Security Strategies and Theories at NUAA. Professor He previously served as a director of the Chinese Society of Legal History and has taught at Zhejiang Sci-Tech University and Nanjing Audit University before joining NUAA in 2022. His research focuses on the development of evidence jurisprudence, digital jurisprudence, and the legal frameworks of electronic data and algorithmic forensics, contributing to China’s modernization of the rule of law. He has published over 50 academic papers in journals such as China Legal Science, Law Review, and Global Law Review, and authored or co-authored six monographs.
Professor He Bangwu is a professor and master supervisor at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA). He is a leading scholar in evidence law, digital law, and cyberspace security.
