After graduating from the Radio Engineering Department of Southeast University in 1987, he began his academic career at NUAA. He further expanded his international academic experience as a visiting scholar at the Moscow Aviation Institute from 1996 to 1997. Professor Wang’s research focuses on high-performance computing chip design and hardware information security technologies. His work addresses the increasing demands of artificial intelligence and next-generation 6G applications by developing advanced approximate computing circuits that significantly improve performance while reducing power consumption and chip area. He has also contributed to hardware-level security through the development of physical unclonable function (PUF) circuits and has advanced research in post-quantum cryptography chips, optimizing circuit architectures and system-level integration. Professor Wang has received five provincial and ministerial-level science and technology awards. He has also actively contributed to international education, mentoring doctoral and postdoctoral researchers, including international scholars.

Professor Wang Chenghua is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the College of Integrated Circuits, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA). He is recognized as a National Distinguished Teacher and is a recipient of the State Council Special Allowance.
