NUAA Summer Programs 2016
This summer, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) will open for you to study the Chinese language, to learn about Chinese culture and international courses and engineering training. By choosing any of these programs, you can earn credits toward your degree, experience the exquisite Chinese culture and cultivate your ability and creativity in academic course and training.

1. Chinese Language & Culture Program (CLCP)
Spend your summer studying and living in one of China’s most vibrant and exciting cities. Combine language learning with cultural studies and travel to open your mind to a new dimension. Course Features: Weekend trips to nearby cities and historical sites. Basic and Intensive Language Training. Course Contents:
Language, History, Chinese Martial Arts, Calligraphy, Chinese Cuisine, etc.
2. Engineering Training Program (ETP)
Enhance your engineering abilities and creativeness with NUAA’s Engineering Training Program.
Choose from one of these courses
a) Digitized Design and Manufacturing Training
Course Contents :-
CAD/CAM, Distributed Numerical Control (DNC), CNC machining, Rapid prototyping (RP), Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM), Laser Beam Machining (LBM) etc. The goal of this training program is to improve the practice ability and cultivate the spirit of innovation among the students.
b) Electronic Engineering Training
Course Contents :-
Design methods of PCB, PCL elevator control, monitoring system based on DSP, smart homes sensors, robots design and autonomous navigation method, Engineering drawing on UG, gesture recognition methods based on kinect etc.
3. Summer Lecture (International Course Program) (ICP)
Invite Professors and Asst. Professors and lecturers from different regions and countries.
Over 150 academics and 6000 students took part in past few years.

Credits will be given for each of the Courses attended
Inner Campus, approx. 150RMB/day/person Off Campus, approx. 260 RMB/day/standard room (Jinjiang Hotel)
Module costs include tuition, travel to historical and cultural sites and innovation expense. Students are responsible for their own meals and personal expense. The exchange rate is approximately 6.1 RMB per USD and 7.9 RMB per Euro.
